Samsung French-Door Refrigerator Repair in Juanita, Kirkland

Last week we helped a family in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland, WA with their Samsung French-door refrigerator, and this case is a perfect example of a problem we see all the time.

The customer called because the freezer was working normally, but the fridge section stayed warm no matter what temperature they set. This is one of the most common issues on Samsung French-door models, especially after a few years of regular use.

When the freezer is cold and the refrigerator is warm, it usually means one thing: the air is not circulating as it should. The refrigerator uses a small evaporator fan located inside the back panel to move cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator. If the fan stops working, the freezer continues to freeze and the refrigerator heats up. And that is exactly what happened in this case.

This is a known pattern on certain Samsung French-door units, especially when frost builds up behind the back panel.

The full Samsung refrigerator repair took about 2 hours.

As soon as the new fan was installed and the frost cleared, the airflow returned to normal and the fridge started cooling evenly again.

If you have a Samsung refrigerator with French doors, you may encounter several problems over time

  • The doors do not close tightly

  • High humidity

  • The fan loses power

  • Airflow is restricted.

When the evaporator fan motor wears out, the refrigerator cannot draw in cold air, even if the freezer compartment remains cold.

The repair took 2 hours.

No return visit was necessary.

The family was happy that their refrigerator was working again on the same day.
